Appeals.

Records of appeal are used in appeals from lower courts to the superior courts (the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court). They contain documents as specified by the applicable rules or practice directions.

The rates for bundles of records of appeals are standard, based on whether they are interlocutory proceedings, or full proceedings.

Going up.

Appeal bundles to the Court of Appeal will follow the Rules of the Court of Appeal 1994/Rules of the Court of Appeal (Amendment) 2018, and the Court of Appeal Practice Direction No. 1 of 2017.

Where there is uncertainty, we will strictly comply with your/your representative solicitor's instructions and requirements.

  • For appeal records, a draft index will have to be prepared. (Especially so for proceedings at the Court of Appeal.) If requested, we may generate the draft indexes based on the documents you have provided.
